We train industrial technicians specialising in machining and typically have 3-4 apprentices at a time – and we believe there are many good paths into the trade, so there is also room for you if you come from a different background.
You will always get a full training agreement covering your entire apprenticeship, and you will learn side by side with experienced colleagues at the machines. Once you have completed your training, we are happy to hire our apprentices as skilled workers wherever possible.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship at Lund. I get to try my hand at lots of different tasks, from turning and milling to assembly, and there is always an experienced colleague ready to help if I get stuck. It gives me a lot of experience, and I learn something new almost every day.
